About the Book

Following Jesus on His Kingdom-building mission has been the adventure of my lifetime. I truly believe that there is no one who wouldn't follow our good King Jesus if they understood who He is. This book will share just some of my adventures of the past 47 years. Like the Lord's disciple Philip, I invite my friends to come and see who Jesus is and what following Him is like.

About the Authors

Jim Rhodes

Jim served as missionary staff with Cru for 40 years, helping to share the gospel with thousands of students and initiate ministries on college campuses in:

• The United States

• The former Soviet Union

• Japan

• Several countries throughout North Africa and the Middle East

Jim is also a popular guest faculty lecturer for Frontier Venture’s  course entitled “Perspectives on the World Christian Movement.”

Jim has been married to his wife Barbara since 1979.  They currently live near Valley Forge, PA.  They have two grown children, Becky and Mike, who both currently serve as missionaries. Over the years of ministry together, the Lord Jesus has used Jim and Barb to help send, equip, and coach hundreds of missionary leaders. 

Currently, Jim is engaged in a battle with a stage 4 lung cancer that is incurable at this time.
